Lanboss Limited was founded in 1998, with roots stemming back to the early 1990s as network builders and implementers, delivering IT solutions and performing system migrations for over 250,000 networked users.

Its original products were auditing and compliance management workstation management tools for large-scale networks.  The portfolio aimed to reduce effort and costs with:
