What is this about?

For a limited time, Lanboss is giving away licenses for its acclaimed Workstation Auditor free of charge.   This is not for a function limited, beta or otherwise restricted demo version, but rather the full product, as normally sold for ±£15.50.   You can even buy maintenance and use this promotional license to upgrade to any other Uniboss product.

Why is Lanboss doing this?

There are a number of reasons...
  • First off, we're celebrating our 10th anniversary in December 2009
  • Our second celebration is with the commencement of development of the next iteration of Uniboss (v5.x)
  • The last is that we believe that accurate estate information should be available to all

What do you need to do?

Please read the terms below then, if you haven't already, go to the Client Center on this site and register yourself.   Your information is safe with Lanboss, please see our Privacy Policy for information on how we keep and might use your information.   When you're registered, place a request for a Workstation Auditor License.   Once approved, you will receive an email notification, all for free!   All we ask is that you provide accurate information.

Terms

  1. Promotional licenses do not include annual maintenance. Clients can optionally purchase annual maintenance at the prevailing rate to take advantage of minor updates as well as major releases during the next year.
  2. Annual maintenance must be purchased within 30 days of the promotional license being issued.
  3. A license that has current annual maintenance can be upgraded to other Lanboss products, like Workstation Manager, for the same node count as the promotional license (hence our request that you provide accurate information!)
  4. Support is available by email and via the Client Centre forum.
  5. Licenses will only be issued to bona-fide organisations and to a valid registered email at that organisation, no public mail service (Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo etc) registrations will be allowed.
  6. Only one license will be issued per organisation.
  7. Lanboss reserves the right to turn down a license request without having to justify the reason. In this case we will notify the registered user by email.
  8. The registration and license request must be made on the Lanboss web site using the Client Centre.
  9. Lanboss reserves the right to end this promotion at a time of our choosing, without prior notice, however all legitimate registered requests will be honoured subject to these terms.
