Mail Migrator

Translation

Moving email messages from one mail system to another is one part of migration, the other is making sure that those messages behave identically on the new mail system.

Mail Migrator can be configured to translate the mail messages as they are transferred removing those reference that are no longer appropriate in an Exchange environment. For example, Groupwise represents an external email address as 'SMTP:bill.smith@mycompany.com' which would confuse Exchange if you tried to reply to an email. Mail Migrator can remove these Groupwise gateway references ensuring that the email behave exactly as expected on the Exchange system.
