Kingson Technology has launched its 'Responsible Usage' program, an awareness campaign to make users aware of the benefits and pitfalls of using removable storage. In this program they are promoting safe and secure use of removable storage products both at home and in the workplace. It should be remembered how small and easily stolen memory devices are and that care should always be taken with what is stored on them. This further extends into the realms of corporate data and the responsibilities the user has in carrying information with them. They have developed a White Paper of recommendations for companies to implement the necessary policies and user awareness campaigns to ensure that the best use is made of removable storage devices. Data Kingston endorses DataCop as a part of their campaign as DataCop can enable specific devices for authorised users, which falls in line with the Responsible Usage campaign
Lanboss recommends and exclusively uses Kingston Memory for all of our office, development and test machines. We spend thousands of man-hours using PCs in development and reliability is paramount to releasing quality products on time. We have found that the highest level of system failure occurs with inferior quality RAM being fitted to our equipment. Since we standardised on Kingston, we no longer have to worry about machine reliability. The cost saving that may be had by buying '3rd Party' memory is lost with the first system crash and we wouldn't be able to perform our work efficiently without Kingston Technology
