Oct-2006: Major version release across the Lanboss range. Version 2.5 architecture launches with a level of flexibility, functionality, and ease of use that's not been seen before.

May-2005: Workstation Manager v2.1.0 released. New features include remote auditor, stateful executable file scanning and enhanced scalability. User popups, application installation and removal gives the Workstation Manager a true 'Software Asset Management' capability, unavailable until now

Apr-2005: Paul Sadlier joins Lanboss as Business Development Manager. Paul brings decades of business experience within the computer networking arena to Lanboss. He joins from a senior position at British Telecom, where he headed up the Desktop Propositions group

Jan-2005: Synchro Mail v2 enhancements now include the ability to limit the exent of mail migration by using parameters like number of months of mail, or total capacity per mailbox. The 'overflow' mail is stored in a Legacy Mail system that allows users to read and work with previous messages through local or web readers

Jun-2004: Workstation Manager with v2.0.4 released with focused software license compliance console ehnancements added, resulting in a single product to perform the 'a to z' Software Compliance Auditing, organisation and ongoing management

Jun-2004: Synchro Mail released, giving GroupWise users a viable way to migrate to Exchange and other mail systems. Apart from being able to migrate the GroupWise mail server content, Synchro Mail is also able to 'demigrate' personal address books and local archives

Jun-2004: Lanboss and BT sign reseller agreement to provide Lanboss products and services to BT as part of BT's ongoing development of its ICT business. Initially, the Lanboss tools are being used for Auditing and Migration purposes to give BT a number of advantages in offering services to its clients

Oct-2003: Synchro v2 released. Synchro uses incremental techniques to perform server migrations during normal business hours and reducing the out of hours time taken to migrate server content. It retains file ownership between disparate Operating Systems, translates between an 'old' and a 'new' user names, has archiving capabilities and can even redirect files to DVD under defined criteria

Apr-2003: Server Manager v2 released. The second major IP based solution from Lanboss, Server Manager introduces the 'Storage Landscape' capability which categorises every file through over 100 filters. This is the perfect way of planning server capacity models and preparing for SAN migrations

Jun-2002: Workstation Manager v2 released. The first of the pure IP based solutions from Lanboss. The v2 architecture is now firmly established with a true client/server architecture that will become the basis for man of Lanboss's future products

Jun-2001: The Migration Toolkit enables the first ever 'Mid-week Migration' to take place for one of our resellers on a site of over 500 users. The transparency of the workstation migration capabilities makes the server changes go un-noticed by all, resulting in no help desk calls, no disgruntlement and no downtime!
