About Us

Lanboss Software Ltd was founded in 1998 as a developer of highly adaptable network system tools and applications. These tools were designed from real-world requirements, fulfilling the needs of the networking professional.

Once the spectre of the Millennium bug passed the focus within IT groups began to shift. They realised that they were, often, managing their systems blind or at best, with minimal (assumed) information. What was really wanted was clear and comprehensive information about their ever increasing IT landscapes. A new breed of auditing tool was needed that provided remote deployment, remote discovery and remote management.

Lanboss Software released a number of tools that addressed these needs, leveraging their long standing expertise in network systems management. These form the basis of what is now a world-class suite of auditing and management tools giving you a real view of your IT landscape today. With good information it's easier to make good decisions and with good decisions come success. Lanboss Software continue to work hard to ensure your success!

Getting to Lanboss

By Train

South West Trains run the rail services from London Waterloo to Basingstoke. There are two services, the Fast and the Slow. The fast service takes about 45 minutes. Normally the slow train leaves some 15 minutes before the fast, and arrives in Basingstoke about 10 - 15 minutes after the fast (so don't take this one!). There are half hourly departures for both services.

Please call our offices from Waterloo and we will arrange for you to be met at Basingstoke station by one of our staff.

Getting to Lanboss via the M3

Take junction 6 (signposted A339, Basingstoke) off the M3 and go onto the Ring Road (A339) North, towards Newbury. On the Ring Road (A339) follow signs for District Hospital and A340 Aldermaston.

Leave the Ring Road, onto the A340, past the District Hospital and Ambulance Station. Continue up the A340, for about 5 miles, to arrive in Tadley from the south.

Cross over the first main roundabout and proceed towards Tadley town centre. You will find LANgroup House on the right as you approach the summit of Mulfords Hill on the A340.

Both the A340 North and South bound routes are subject to 30mph speed restrictions in places. Speed Cameras are in operation at many locations on the road. For our peace of mind please travel safely.

Getting to Lanboss via the M4

Take Junction 12 off the M4 signposted Pangbourne and Theale and take the A4 heading towards Newbury.

Follow the A4 for some two miles, then take the A340 towards Basingstoke and continue down this road through Aldermaston Village to the Calleva Park roundabout. At this point take the first exit left, following the A340 through Tadley village towards Basingstoke.

LANgroup House is on your left hand side as you leave Tadley Town Centre towards Basingstoke.

If you arrive by air at Heathrow or Gatwick Airport, please call Lanboss's offices before your departure so that we can arrange to meet you. Local hotels are plentiful around Basingstoke, suiting a broad variety of tastes and budgets.
