The Lanboss Migrator course is aimed at providing the necessary skills for delegates to be able to perform workstation migrations. It will show how to use advanced reporting to find pertinent information for the pending migration and covers all related topics to work toward the migration goals. Major topics include Universal Naming Conventions (UNC) and user profile management.

Pre-Requisites The delegate must be certified for the Lanboss Implementer course. As this course focussed on adjusting workstation configurations en masse, candidates should be a Microsoft MCP in workstation and workstations or ideally hold full Microsoft MCSE qualification

Materials Whilst attending the course, delegates will receive:

· A 10 User License of the Workstation Manager

Course Content

Upon completion of this course the delegate will have a detailed knowledge and understanding of:

· Using advanced reporting to identify migration topics

· Techniques for performing changes

· Workstation image building

· Using Migration Tasks

· Risk Management

· Workstation UNC management

· Network Client manipulation

· Workstation User profile and movement

· Task creation and management for changes to workstations

Please note that this course does not include training on Microsoft Windows or Network configuration

Certification Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be required to pass the Lanboss Migrator exam to achieve certification
