Course 201 - Implementer

The overall aim of the Lanboss Implementer Course is to give a solid technical foundation in the Lanboss Manager products, their architecture, installation, configuration and using the standard reporting tools. It allows for setting up the product, undertaking an audit of a client environment and producing standard auditing outputs. The Workstation Manager will be used extensively throughout the course.

Pre-Requisites The delegate must have a good understanding of Microsoft Windows itself, Windows Security and Microsoft Networking with particular emphasis on the Windows workstation start-up and logon environments. Certification in the Lanboss Operator or Lanboss Advanced Operator would be an advantage, but is not mandatory

Materials Whilst attending the course, delegates will receive:

· Lanboss Education CD

· A 10 User License of the Workstation Manager

Course Content

Upon completion of this course the delegate will have a detailed knowledge and understanding of:

· The product structure

· Correct installation and configuration of the products

· Deployment of workstation agents

· Troubleshooting installations

· Adjusting parameters

· Standard reporting and alert processing

· Decommissioning the software

Certification Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be required to pass the Lanboss Implementer exam to achieve certification
